The 2012 MTV AMA nominations were announced earlier today (Mon. Sep. 17th), and leading the nominations is none other than Roc Nations prized position Rihanna with 6 nominations. Other nominees includes Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, Chris Brown, Nas, M.I.A., Drake, and Jay Z to name a few. It’s almost that time of year again and Billboard have just released their 2012 Billboard Music Awards nominations. Leading the pack is non other than dominating force Adele with 18 nominations which comes to no surprise. Following her is party rock group LMFAO with 17 nominations and Rihanna with 13. Lil Wayne and Lady Gaga also managed to nab themselves 10 nominations while other artists including Kanye West, Neyo, Drake, Bruno Mars, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Miguel, Beyonce, and Cee-Lo managed to get a few.
The awards will be held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on May 20th, but for the time being check out the nominees below.

Just messy is what you should call it. Moments ago MTV released this year’s Video Music Award nominations and lest just say a lot of people are livid. Leading the pack with 9 nominations is none other than pop singer Katy Perry, followed by Adele and Kanye West with 7 and Kanye with 5 more for collaborations bringing his total to 12. But what has got everyone riled up is the lack their of for Rihanna even though she grabbed 7 featured nominations and the low amount of nominations both Beyonce and Lady Gaga received (both 3), Justin Bieber who grabbed 1 and Britney Spears who grabbed 2. Other nominators include Bruno Mars, Neyo, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Drake, Cee-Lo Green, and Lupe Fiasco.
