The 2012 MTV AMA nominations were announced earlier today (Mon. Sep. 17th), and leading the nominations is none other than Roc Nations prized position Rihanna with 6 nominations. Other nominees includes Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, Chris Brown, Nas, M.I.A., Drake, and Jay Z to name a few. The award show will air live from Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany, on November 11th. In the meantime check out the nominations below.

It’s almost that time of year again so MTV released the nominations for the 2012 VMA’s. Leading the pack with five nominations are both Drake and Rihanna. Rihanna also nabbed six more as a featured artist. Coming in with the second most nominations is Katy Perry with 4 followed by M.I.A., Frank Ocean, The Throne, and Beyonce with 3 nominations. Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Janelle Monae, M.I.A. and Chanel Iman was also in attendance for the Costume Institute Benefit Gala 2012 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art this past weekend.
